Dog Soldiers, closely followed by An American Werewolf in London.

Brotherhood of the Wolf 2001- based on the historical events in France (with much poetic license). If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor. It's a terrific flick.

The Howling. A mediocre movie that came out when I was a tween and not supposed to watch it. Puppy nostalgia for me.

Shouldn't every list like this include "Abbot and Costello meet …"? because, yeah Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (wolfie and drac are in this one).

Blount02 Sep 2025 5:52 p.m. PST

Dog Soldiers

I appreciate the original 1941 flick the most.
An American in London is great, but too gory for my taste.

I just may not be cut out for this sort of film.

Does Cat People count?

If only for Nastassia Kinski?

BillyNM02 Sep 2025 9:38 p.m. PST

American Werewolf in London every time, one of only two films I ever went to see twice in the cinema.

Kevin C03 Sep 2025 4:40 a.m. PST

Silver Bullet (1985) and Cursed (2004).

Underworld was great, BUT American Werewolf in London had Bad Moon Rising.

American werewolf in London, and Dog Soldiers. Of course the former did have Jenny Agutter!

Tgerritsen – Thanks for the recommendation for "Brotherhood of the Wolf". Just watched it on the Tubi website. Fantastic movie!
