I think that was a joke ;-)

I thought it was a joke, too, but that is just me.

Of course it was a joke.

But I do sometimes forget that some delicate flowers on the modern web are so easily upset, so apologies.

I think some people don't really understand irony and think it is sarcasm. We do like to poke a bit of fun at our transatlantic cousins from time to time, but it is merely in jest.

Though the response does come across as a back-handed acknowledgement that 'labour' is in fact the correct spelling :-)
