I made a few hills out of pink insulation foam. One of the hills won't lay flat. I put heavy weight overnight and it didn't help. Any suggestions? |

Gently, gently, gently, gently warm it with a hairdryer on low outdoors. Test to see if it is pliable. Keep going until it is. Bend it the other way. Press it down on a table with some wax paper on it. It will cool fast. It will aslo melt fast … did I mention warm it gently? Hope that helps. |

If you painted and flocked the upper side, this caused the hill to warp when the paint or glue dries. It shrinks and tightens up. I counter-paint or Elmers glue the bottom while the top is still not fully dry. Sometimes it will also work after the top has dried. After applying the paint or glue on the bottom, when dry to the touch, try putting weight on top to level it out. Do this on newspaper or such. |
