Very true John. Brazil was once a major buyer of American soybeans (I am a son of a soybean farmer) and with Trump's tariffs Brazil is now buying soybeans from China. All these tariffs are doing is pushing nations away from the US and into the welcoming arms of China. |

What I'm saying is that there's an unending rant against him out of proportion to what's going on. We're in the correction period we should have had under Clinton from a foreign policy standpoint, which includes exposing and dethroning the grifter Establishment class that has been accruing power and ripping us off, resetting global trade so we don't keep getting screwed and trying to rebuild the US manufacturing base. And I will fight anyone who calls him "Fascist". He's Stalinist. A funny Stalinist who promotes open and transparent elections, smaller more accountable government, less censorship and government control of media and speech (making nasty tweets and stuff ain't speech control -- Biden embedding FBI at Twitter and starting the "Office of Misinformation Control" WAS speech control). A Stalinist who has helped negotiate an end to six wars, and gets nothing but sh1te for trying to end the most destructive European war since WW2. Nah, his ACTUAL policies are little different from Truman, Ikem JFK and Reagan. His tweets and verbiage are total product of our scorched earth media/political culture -- that he didn't start, btw. But he's damn good at it. |

Trump is a Trumppist. He may now be a Rhino but many conservatives do not like him but tolerant him as the best alternative.
As with any president, a person will not favor every decision.
So discussions on policies says more about the individual than the president. Oh I did not vote for him in the 2016 primaries but did in the General election.
I did not support him in the primaries because he was still a registered DEMOCRAT. He nor his kids could vote for him in his home state because they were all registered Democrat. |
