Which one: 1701, 1701-A, 1701-B, "1701 bloody C or D"? I think I'm going to be space sick! :-{} |

That will need to be the next poll, though I'm not sure what the results will mean. I'm surprised the Millennium Falcon is so far back in the back. |

And I was shocked that everyone jumped on video--not to mention clearly conflating every conceivable moving picture Star Trek variant, though I thought I was pretty careful in only specifying the original. Clearly the membership doesn't read as much--or as carefully--as I'd thought, and this will shape my TMP poll suggestions going forward. May all those who jumped on the only warship on the list have to fill out efficiency reports on the entire crew! And conduct property book inventories!! |

Yeah, answers to the question at hand in poll are definitely getting wibbly-wobbly around here. |

No matter the wording of the poll, I would have posted my humorous comment. It was an homage to the Star Trek: Next Generation episode where they found Montgomery Scott stuck in a Tansporter Buffer; he visited the D's Holo-deck, where he sat in Kirk's chair, on the bridge. I found it one of the most endearing episodes of the entire series. I could not resist making a reference to it, since the poll lent itself so "bloody" conveniently to it. "Deflectors Shields UP! Red Alert! BATTLE STATIONS -- this is not a drill. I repeat: this is not a drill. Kirk out." Cheers! |

On NCC-1701, if you're one of the 9 central characters, you get to have adventures. The other 421 get periodically bounced off of bulkheads and live in constant fear of being summarily condemned to a landing party. Everyone on the Serenity has adventures. |

What, no love for Red Dwarf…? LOL |

I'm actually glad I missed the poll. Four almost the same choices, though 'This is ridiculous' could also mean 'Silly person actually expects a choice,' aka favorite child… Not my genre/cuppa/etc? Seems one choice. While I am embarrassed to admit I don't remember all listed, pretty sure I would take a chance on any in the list Doug |
