Well, it was inevitable…time marches on. The Langtons will be retiring at the end of this year…2025…and their products will no longer be available from them or from Waterloo Games in the US. I can get restocks from them through the end of November, so please feel free to order what you'd like from store.waterloogames.com, but about the middle of November I'm going to start updating the store with just quantities on-hand and that will be it. At the end of December 2025 I will shut down my webstore and the Langton products that I have here in the US will be available only at any east coast gaming conventions I attend, or by ordering via email and letting me know what you want, to which I'll reply with what I have available. In the meantime, please visit store.waterloogames.com for any last orders of the wonderful Langton products. Going…going…sigh… |

Oh wow, this is bad news. I will be making an order from you shortly to complete my Trafalgar project. EDIT: Thanks for the heads-up on this. |

Ooh – time to bite the bullet and order that lovely scenery. And ships… |

Congrats for doing well for a long time what so many never do well or can't do for long. Those miniatures are going to become collectible, because the reputation will go on. So many, many TMP threads start with a question and the first and best answer posted is "Langton". And Congrats for shutting it down according to a plan, rather than spiraling out of control as changing circumstances make it harder to do everything right. I admire that. It's so tempting to hold on to something so valuable after it can no longer be done well. I've placed a few orders with people who kept their businesses running too long and I don't expect to ever receive them. No ill will, but it's better to shut down cleanly than start doing a bad job. I'm sorry for the news, but congrats anyway. |

Thanks Andrew. It's definitely a sad day…I started repping the Langton products back about 2007 or so, passed the baton to a friend who then passed it back to me so we've been doing this for quite a while. Rod and Carol are just wonderful people to deal with, but everyone deserves a retirement and theirs is long overdue. Carol said she would fill orders through November, then December would be fulfillment and shutting down. I've got quite a bit of stock here so I'll do as I say above…go to conventions and answer emails. I wish I could keep my webstore going but it's pretty expensive. |

Not my area of collecting, but I can say that I have only read a lot of good things about you. Best of luck as you wind things down. |
