One thing I wondered when I first began painting 28mm Roman Early Empire figs: are they really able to keep the armor that shiny? I just assumed that back in "the olden days" it was not possible to finish metal that shiny. (I am 74 and definitely not shiny.)

@rusty.., depends on how often you polish it. I'm sure after castrametation and supper there was a slot for a bit of polishing before bed.
