What is your favorite Campaign Game System that came in a set of rules or a rule supplement (like Army List books or a separate Campaign Book).

(Any period, scale etc…).

Thanks!

Scharnhorst which came with the rules "Blucher" by Sam Mustafa.

The ‘At the Sharp End' campaign supplement for Chain of Command, together with their pint-sized historical campaign pdfs. Just brilliant.

Not a campaign game player at all, seen too many of them just fall apart over the years to take any campaign game seriously.

Sport of Kings in the Age of Reason rules.

#Fitzovich – the TFL pint-sized campaigns, are simple, low-level (platoon), ladder campaigns and typically only run for 6-8 games so don't really get a chance to fall apart.

I'll second Scharnhorst. For us it really added a campaign element to each game.

DBA — Six Player Historical Campaigns. Played quite a number of those back when we could get (1) a quorum of players at the house and (2) who could all stay around for a full morning and afternoon of gaming. These days, can sometimes meet requirement (1) with our bi-monthly DBA games at the FLGS, but never (2).

Ironclads & Etherflyers, came with a number of specific campaigns built in. Got to play the Spanish-American War one once, great campaign!

Command Decision, played a couple both the Stolberg Corridor and Bulge campaigns way back when.

Another Sam Mustafa game. Nimitz with the Halsey campaign system. We have done a number of the naval battles around Guadalcanal with it.
