Do any of the scenarios involve the Greeks? They were badly outnumbered, and their aircraft usually weren't as good as the Italians, so I understand the Italians won more fights than they lost.

Grelber
Who has some WWII Greek land forces and might be suckered into Greco-Italian air warfare.

How about…
H&R IA403 CANT Z.501 Gabbiano
H&R IA501 CANT Z.506
H&R IA502 Savoia-Marchetti SM.82
PT Dockyard AA3 Ambrosini SAI.207
PT Dockyard AA2 Caproni Ca.380 Corsaro

No Greeks in these scenarios, Grelber.

Slug – wonderful! I am adding them to my list…thanks! However, I do not see any Italian aircraft on the PT Dockyard site.

Darryl, they were there, using the Wayback Machine, I found them in 2012. My list is old.

AA2 Caproni CA 380 "Corsaro" twin boom Italian fighter………$4.00
The Ca 380 Corsaro was a twin- fuselage two-seat fighter with the crew seated in tandem in a cockpit carried by the starboard boom (a similar arrangement to that adopted for the S.M.92). The Corsaro was powered by two 1,550-h.p. Daimler- Benz DB 603 engines and carried an armament of four 2O-mm. Mauser cannon and a bomb load under the wing section between the two fuselages. A prototype of the Corsaro was flight tested but eventually destroyed by the retreating German forces.

AA3 Ambrosini SAI.207 Italian Fighter…………………………….$2.75
Coming soon- , more Italian, Finnish, Romanian, US and German projects

PT dockyard dropped a lot of items years ago as their molds aged. Maybe a lot faster than they intended. Maybe they felt they were casting their net too widely. I got some of their last SOC-V riverine assault boats in 6mm. The mold was already starting to deteriorate so mine have "tarps" covering areas of the deck where the mold was going.

Nice list. I think the quality of Raiden has gone down in the last several years
Grelber, my favorite scenario for the Greeks is to have a couple of bomber escorted by CR 42s intercepted by PZL 24s.

Cheers
Joe

Thanks, Slug! I am keeping my list to what is currently available. I ordered a few planes from PT recently (Vanguards and P-59s) so I might reach out and see if the others will be available anytime soon.

Joe – I agree – seemingly the Raiden castings are not as crisp as even a few years ago.

slugbalancer26 Aug 2025 12:03 p.m. PST

Having bought most of my Raiden models when they were produced here in the UK, I can definitely say the quality has gone down. Luckily I'm not in the market for any more of their aircraft.

When Dave was first producing them here they were still good. But the last year or two they have fallen off. I don't know if it's moulds or metal. Too bad. He has been nice to deal with.

Joe
