"On June 19 (July 2), 1919, Lieutenant General A.I. Denikin issued a directive, which was called "Moscow", which stated:

"With the goal of capturing the heart of Russia, Moscow, I order: (items concerning the Caucasian Volunteer and Don armies are omitted)

General Mai-Maevsky to advance on Moscow in the direction of Kursk – Orel – Tula.".."
