Just got this from Victrix. Dear US customers, Due to recent changes in US import requirements and tariffs on goods shipped from the UK, we have temporarily paused shipping to the United States. These changes require new electronic customs and tariff declaration systems, which UK postal services are still in the process of implementing. We expect this to be resolved within 7-10 days, at which point we will be able to resume normal service to the US. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as these international systems are updated. Rest assured, we are monitoring developments closely and will restart shipping as soon as the process is running smoothly again. The Victrix team This is how you do it people. No rant, no doom and politics- just a business like email telling us that they a pausing for a short bit until they figure it out. This is how businesses should act. I suspect all the other folks who have stopped shipping to the US will do likewise in the end. It will likely be temporary and while inconvenient, isn't the end of world to US shipping some would have us believe. |

I'm still curious about how it works for the seller on tmp, ebay etc. I'm assuming ebay will collect, but not sure about post services. Gifts under 100 dollars will remain exempt. But yes, victrix have been more professional in their advice. |

korsun0 it appears that the tariff needs to be charged by the postal carrier/courier. Latest problem, and the reason for all the pausing of service, appears to be because the legislation was implemented before the systems to handle the legislation were in place (or even thought about). US Customs are very much on the back foot and are desperately trying to work out how to make the new legislation work in practice. |

Ah righto, thanks for that. Guess I'll see what Oz Post comes up with, because they will presumably collect on behalf of the US Customs. |

Even with price increases due to tariffs, once the bureaucratic changes in collecting the tariffs have been completed, British manufactured miniatures will be far cheaper for Americans than they were in the 90s and early 2000s when the dollar was weaker compared to the British pound:https://www.macrotrends.net/2549/pound-dollar-exchange-rate-historical-chart |

I see Pendraken have put out a notice and will have the tariff s sorted in their cart probably on the weekend. However, they raise an interesting point; the tariffs are also charged on shipping as well, and not just the goods. |

I think this will right itself out. Please be patient. I'm in the USA also. Peace. GJ |

A tariff also applied to the cost of the shipping?Im getting the feeling that the US Gubmint doesn't like consumers. |

In fairness, it isn't the US Government. It is one person. |

They announced that they are resuming shipping to the US, and my brother just ordered the new foot sergeants. So, game on! |
