I'm helping my son out with setting up a game for Normans in Sicily and have some buildings I am painting up, but finding it hard to find bushes and flora for Sicily. Anyone have any recommendations?

Prickly pear cactus were and are extremely common. Also link

I should probably be more specific. I am looking for sources to buy (or at least make) Sicilian terrain for my table. Thanks for the image reference, William! But finding them for the table at miniature scale seems to be harder than I thought it would be.

But finding them for the table at miniature scale

What scale? Not that that's going to help me answer your question, but others might find it useful.

There is also the time consideration: only one species is cacti is native to the Old World, so prickly pear (aka Frankish figs) would not be appropriate for the Norman era.

28mm preferred.Sorry, should have added scale, though I will make whatever I find work.

Also, to reiterate, I am not asking what kind of flora is native to Sicily (I have lots of reference- all to plants I cannot obtain in miniature), but rather what kind can be purchased (or tips on how to make them) for the tabletop.
