I first saw the movie The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms when I was about 7 or 8 years old, and always thought it was one of the greatest monsters of all time. I have wanted one for 60 years or more.

This year I turn 70 and I happened to have found a nice large size model of one, and MRS Bunkermeister approved the expenditure!

It likely will be a few weeks before it comes up in the queue but it's going to be great!

Great find! Is it poseable?
And if Batman or Bond turns up, will it be friend or foe?

Will it coexist with Cthulhu when the stars are finally right?

I probably watched the same movie reruns of this on TV. It's one of my two favorite giant monster movies (the original King Kong being the other – no denying Godzilla is a favorite of a lot of folk, but I never enjoyed those movies until the 1998 reboot).

Parzival, not poseable as such, there is some lee way during construction but parts are glued into place. It is a display model not an action figure, theoretically.

Sol, we will have to consult the stars when the time is closer, it is too cloudy to tell at this time.

gamertom? Really? Watch the Japanese version of Godzilla, called Gojira. Way better than the Raymond Burr re-edited version. The Japanese version of Rodan is way better too.

Thanks for commenting.
