Twilight of the Sun King would fit. I own several sets of these rules. Some very good videos on YouTube covering game mechanics, battles and basing. Thanks. John |

King of the Battlefield.
Easy to learn. Great for 1:1 or multiplayer games. I saw the author had found a few copies on the groups.io site.
He had promised us a 20th anniversary edition so it looks pretty like Emperor of the Battlefield. Still waiting on that tempting thought. |

is a big fan of the Age of Sail, and these ships really speak to him - he loves transitional eras, and the Anglo-Dutch Wars was one of those.
