I'm pondering setting up a second home, part-time home (or perhaps more) in the Halifax area, Nova Scotia -- who can tell me anything about the local gaming scene? My interests are primarily historical, involving miniatures and also boardgames and not adverse to Tolkienesque fantasy. I have a library of lots of old AH and SPI hex wargames and over 9,000 painted minis (25mm) plus Axis & Allies stuff and all sorts of other things. Play D&D and RPGs but not lately -- just want to see if there's a simpatico group of gamers or hobby stores I could reach out to. That would mean a lot in terms of deciding on a location in Canada. Any pointers, friends?
