Grelber beat me to it. Some most impressive wooded terrain.

Great terrain, are those all individual tiles?

mgk416720 Aug 2025 2:39 p.m. PST

Korsun 0, yes they are. And, to answer your next question, yes, it takes a long time to create a board. I enjoy terrain creation as much as building military models, and I have tried to find a way that builds boards as close as possible to the actual terrain whilst being flexible enough to be reconfigurable. I'll leave it to you and others whether I have been successful!

korsun0 Supporting Member of TMP20 Aug 2025 8:31 p.m. PST

Eminently successful I'd say. Are they blocks or tiles if you don't mind me asking?

mgk416722 Aug 2025 4:12 p.m. PST

Thanks for the interest. The blocks are individual blocks of balsa wood, balsa for lightness and so that I can stick pins into them for trees. These two photos give a better understanding of how the blocks allow realistic contours to be created.

very interesting and looks like a heck of a lot of work to make! But it really gives a good representation of terrain undulations and the like.
Impressive.
