A week ago I was able to finish a trio of laser cut train station waiting rooms. Though I acquired them for a specific scenario based on the Japanese invasion of Thailand, they will also serve as plantation bungalows, tennis clubhouses, and administrative offices in other games.

These MDF buildings will be making their tabletop debut representing the barracks of Camp Vajiravhud in Nakhon Si Thammarat, the headquarters of Thailand's peninsular command. The site was attacked by the Japanese on the same rain-lashed morning of the Khota Bahru landings in Malaya. What followed was a melee involving rifle-armed artillerymen and transport troops, and even the odd staff officer who'd clearly wandered out of the mess at precisely the wrong moment.

As you can see, the buildings are HO scale but work perfectly with 20mm figures.

More drivel (but with pictures!) to be found over at my blog: ‌link

….they're moonlighting as bungalows for a specific historical scenario I've cooked up….

And all seen with some great food stuffs provided to enjoy with that scenario too!
