How do you say "Oops. My bad," in Chinese?

Somebody rolled a 1.

It seems having a navy is not the same thing as having a well-trained, disciplined navy.

Someone's going to Emergency, someone's going to jail……

Now picture the Chinese Taiwan invasion fleet, half civilian naval militia craft, holding station under fire off the Taiwan coast. Can they do it? Maybe, but these guys will still swabbing decks on harbor scows at best.

Ships take a loooong time to turn and stop, comparatively. A smart commander pays attention to the movement of *every* vessel, friend or foe, in his area, especially in tense situations. I credit the Philippine commander— I think he *did* know just where everyone was, and knew that the Chinese Navy vessel would have to cut across the bow of the Chinese Coast Guard vessel, and led the latter into the situation. But neither the Chinese Navy commander nor the Chinese Coast Guard were paying attention to what the other was doing— they were fixated on their "target" of the Philippine ship.

The icing on the cake is that after the crash, the Philippine vessel offered to render assistance to the two damaged Chinese vessels, and was turned down.
🤣 🤣 🤣

China's military is like their consumer products in that it looks like the real deal but upon closer inspection something seems a little off.

Couldn't have happened to more deserving guys! Kudos to the Philippine vessel.

Yep, it was hilarious. The PI vessel did the right thing by offering assistance, eventhough they knew it would be refused.

Yes, and I am sure help was offered while they tried not to laugh….

The Philippine Coast Guard recruitment numbers are gonna go up after this. They ought to make an ad out of the video.

We know never to underestimate your enemy. But here again, regardless of numbers. Their military forces may not be that effective. However, once again they do have numbers. And based on everything know … they will use those numbers regardless of their losses to gain their objectives …

And as it has been estimated that if war breaks out if the Chicoms try to take Taiwan. Everybody involved will take high losses …

Sucked to be those 6 Chinese conscript sailors though. The guys you see on the bow of the Chinese Coastie ship were probably killed, the others probably went overboard. And you can tell the Chinese DDG Captain didn't give a shite, he powered on to keep harassing the Philippines ship instead of doing a man-overboard search or even stopping to aid the other Chinese ship! Bit maybe not his decision -- I bet they had a Zampolit -- a Political Officer -- on the bridge of each Chinese ship to keep the officers and crew in line.
