Gents, I'm not a Napoleonics gamer, but have often wanted to be. Years ago I saw a game called Orders to Eagles being played at a Kansas City convention, and was smitten with the look and the army-level of gameplay enabled with the rules – I bought them, but never played them, nor have I ever collected anything for such a project. Just recently a newish version of the rules have been released (or that's my understanding), called Eagles to Glory – I'm still toying with the idea of entering the era (daunting), and if this might ever be possible, think I'd do so thru a ruleset/game-level like Eagles to Glory. So still contemplating this, but have now seen this review of the rules linked below (not mine, I'm not affiliated with the designers, except for my decades-old rules purchase of the Orders to Eagles rules back when, but makes me ever interested…..once again) - link |

Reads like it would be workable |

Interesting! I've been toying with the idea of 3mm Napoleonics (for ease of painting sakes) and these might be the perfect set of rules for them. |

Eagles to Glory has a FB group of the same name and a youtube channel with some initial tutorial videos. |

That is really just an overview of the rules, not a real review. Whomever the author is, he likes using ChatGPT icons and organization. |

Hmmm … notice the rules are not available to Australian customers !?!! Seems a bit odd!? I realise America has chosen to be a bit "isolationist" lately but … wargames rules sets? for playing with toy soldiers? Really!? |
