"My last game was The Men Who Would be Kings during the Mahdists Uprising in Sudan but with a little twist. It was also the last game before Christmas, so it couldn't be very serious. Mike brought his 15mm Sudan collection together with his dinosaur collection and invited us for a game. This time the Mahdists had a special weapon against Martini–Henry Rifles and Gatling guns…"

I love it! I believe they used a tan carpet for the ground cover. While I find that brilliant, by itself, I am blown away by the dark mottling effects added to the carpet to vary the surface. These fellows are really creatively resourceful. I would love to play in such a wonderful Journey to the Center of the Earth sort of game. Great creative fun! Cheers! |
