Can anyone recommend a good source for 28mm Medieval Artillerymen? I'm looking for figures suitable for a Crusades siege game. I'd like to find Crusaders, Byzantines, and Arabs.

I'd prefer metal figures.

TIA.

My first go to would be Old Glory. I know they have them for 100 years war and expect you will find something you can use there.

Irregular Miniatures 28mm range under their siege equipment and workers heading, they have a number of sets of both western and eastern dressed medieval figures.

So essentially you would be looking for trebutchet crews, perhaps in a scenario where the besieged are launching a raid to destroy or sabotage the siege engine?

I would think that many civilian or labourer figures would look pretty decent placed standing next to a trebutchet. Or would you like to have them holding some arms to defend themselves and their engine?

How would some of these Perry civilians fit the role?

Maybe with an officer thrown in to lead the lot.

Foundry also makes some western European civilians which are nominally for the 14th century, but might perhaps also work for a bit earlier Crusader forces.

Speaking of Foundry, they also have this 13th century pack that might work fine as a catapult crews:

The sculpts date back to 1980's, and are starting to show their age, though.
