I am looking for 28mm AWI American Militia/Minutemen armed with muskets standing at attention at order arms, non-uniformed in civilian clothes. Really surprised this is so hard to find. |

Here's one that should work: link Jim |

Now that I look a little closer at them, these Wargame Atlantic figures look great but not exactly what I was looking for. I want to do Lexington green and I want the militia more passive and less aggressive. Just standing there waiting for something to happen. |

I think I am going to go with these Foundry figures. link Some of them are a little too casual. I will have to weed some of them out. It looks like some of them might have backpacks and that will not work. I will either have to remove the packs or not use the figure. This is probably the closest I can get. All the figures I see in various ranges are too aggressive, firing and yelling orders as in Wargame Atlantic's figures or too frightful as in Perry's Nervous Southern Militia. What I would rather have is Perry's Northern Militia standing at order arms with a few looking around a little apprehensive. I'm amazed that no one makes these figures for Lexington and Concord. |

Eureka's "Ragged Continentals" in the marching pose might work. While not standing, they seem pretty casual. Paint the clothing in civilian colors and throw in an old "Provincial" jacket or two. |

Have you thought of Hinchliffe figures? |

If no company makes these particular figures it's likely because they believe that the demand is not there.. it doesn't sound like something that I would consider adding to my Fife and Drum figure range. I've been burned a couple of times by people asking me to add a certain figure and then nobody is interested in buying that figure (and this includes a person who made the request). |
