Be interesting to see the final price. Australia has a good record of budget blow outs. But the Japanese ship looks like a good deal, particularly compared to what it is scheduled to replace. |

Very good news for the Pacific. Japan has a long history of quality warship development and are tech savvy. The Chinese will not be happy. |

Be interesting to see the final price. Australia has a good record of budget blow outs. Too true, Korsun. CASG has a well-deserved reputation as a money sink and the gun-runners know all the tricks to getting contract change proposals approved. Of more interest to me is where they're going to get the people to play with the new toys we're getting. Recruiting has picked up a bit, but I believe retention hasn't improved. |
