This handsome chap is Johann I Joseph, Prince of Liechtenstein, commander of the Cavalry Corps at Aspern.

He was a prominent Austrian cavalry commander during the Napoleonic Wars. He served with distinction in various campaigns, notably at the Battle of Austerlitz and later as commander of the I Reserve Korps during the War of the Fifth Coalition. He earned the rank of General of Cavalry in 1808 and was promoted to Feld-marschall in 1809.

I have nearly finished the Reserve Cavalry Corps and have organized the command structure.

Brigades are commanded by two figures, a division has four and the senior command has six.

I have used the Art Miniturian figures which whilst chunky compared to their printed comrades, do have a charm of their own.

Lots to do.

Chris

Chunky works for cuirassiers!

So much to like here and the more senior the rank the better they look. But the spiral flag poles must take the first prize

Thank you Mr D for your kind words.

They are most appreciated.
