The old Ral Partha Pathan shields have many uses.

They alway include more than I would ever use.

Just today, I used some filed down on the top as seats around a round institutional type table.

In the past, I used some as red/green light at a vehicle entrance point.

My amazons, hobbits, and gnomes all are using them as actual shields.

And I even have some sword armed Pathans carrying them.
