Suggestions for metal infantry for WW2?

I know there is Eureka, and Peter Pig. Anything else I'm missing?

Who, in your opinion, has the best detail?

Thanks

Skytrex Command Decision, an impressive (size-wise) range but I don't do WW2 in 15mm so can't comment on how well they mix.

Irregular, Old Glory/Skytrex. QRF did some too but are currently up for sale again. Minifigs? Battlefront use D to do them, obvs.

My metal figures are mostly Peter Pig but have some QRF, OG and Irregular mixed in. They all go together OK. Most detailed are probably Peter Pig.

An awful lot of my 15mm figures are plastic (PSC) and now a small but increasing proportion are 3D prints. The latter are generally beautifully proportioned with stunning detail. Give it a couple of years and 3D prints will be taking over the entire world.

Give it a decade and we won't even need to paint them.

I have
Old Glory US Marines.Japanese and US Paratroopers The first two are well detailed and animated the latter not as much.

Eureka US Marines Japanese and Chinese. The Japanese are slightly smaller than the Old Glory Japanese but this was done on purpose. The detail is good on these.

Battlefront US Army Germans and US Airborne. The Airborne are my favorite well detailed and animated. The Germans are also good. I found the US Army to be a little static.

I base mine in groups of 3-4 for squads 2 for special teams and singles for platoon leaders. Fireball Forward/Crossfire

BF have swapped a lot of their figures to plastic now , including the US, UK and German airborne .

Forged in Battle and Essex both have 15mm metal infantry .

I have a lot of Battlefront metal figures, and I have never bought a single thing from Battlefront (or an FLGS). They all came from flea markets, TMP, and eBay. More than 2 decades of FOW has flooded the miniatures market with 15mm WWII miniatures, and there are always extras, units, and whole collections for sale at flea markets, on eBay, on Facebook, etc. If you're patient and shop carefully, you can get some really nicely painted stuff ready to play with, often quite cheap.

I built a collection of 15mm Pacific War miniatures by starting with some flea market purchases, then adding to it from:

Command Decision (US – from Old Glory Miniatures): Great poses, great variety of poses, good detail, good proportions, paint up well, a bit on the small side compared to BF and PP. My favorites, and my first choice when shopping new.

Quality Castings (US – from Old Glory 15s): Nice enough figures, some equipment I couldn't find elsewhere, but smallest WWII 15s I know of, not mixable with others. I won't buy more.

Peter Pig (UK): Compatible with BF in size, not quite as nicely cast/sculpted, but all the PP advantages – fun poses, good variety, good animation.

Look around for figure size comparisons, there are some lingering on the Internet. Here's a useful one I stole from this page:

Legend:
1 Wargames Factory
2 PSC old style
3 PSC new style
4 Command Decision Skytrex/Old Glory
5 Battlefront pre FoW green box era
6 Peter Pig old style
7 Peter Pig new style
8 Forged in Battle
9 Battlefront

Note that BF figures have been through a few generations of sculpts now, so they aren't all the same. They seem to get larger with each revision. I definitely prefer the older ones.

Quality Casting by 19th Century is my preferred brand.
