Gents: I'm looking for a dark blue hobby paint that would suitable for 28mm British Naval Brigade miniatures in 1881 Egypt or 1879 Zululand. Ideally, I could map this paint to an enamel hobby point. It's been suggested I use Tamiya XF-17 Sea Blue or Revell Lufthansa Blue. Thanks. |

Hi Disaster Wargamer. Thank you. I was looking for something darker than Wolf Grey. I have Wolf Grey which works for me as a primer. Kind Regards, GJ |

When I painted some many years ago I used Vallejo Dark Sea Blue. |

Mix existing dark blue with black ? Over a black undercoat. That's what I do. |

These are all good suggestions. Thank you. I think it's good to have a black undercoat and an Insignia Blue overcoat. |
