If 3D printing can now get to this resolution (and OK the painting is simply amazing) will our grandchildren make the effort to file off mould lines on plastic kits, add brass work and all the superdetailing? Would you invest in Heller, Italeri, Tamiya etc etc if you are in your 30s now? These even have open turrets…..fantastic models (if worryingly too good, when 3D printing becomes self aware one day) |
