Historicon 2025: Stories from the Basement , Wally's Basement Had a great time coming through "one man's trash, looking for my treasure" …. Walter had some great Afghans , Walter if you have more I'll take them!
Found some painted Cavemen
Painted Fire and Ice; Free Folk … not free for me 😉
Lot of Citadel paint pots
Sold a painted army of Byzantines
A few old games and lots of painted lead
Sad , I had an item or two "disappear" from the table .
Of course one was an item a friend wanted me to sell, unopened Bolt Action troops.
So I was berated appropriately … Overall .. a great time ,,, Do you have a Story from the Basement ? -Mike |

I was looking for painted Byzantines!!! How did I miss yours? I "settled" for a large painted 28mm Arab army suitable for Abbasid, Fatimid, etc. It was in need of some repairs, but the paint job was very good with hundreds of hand-painted shields. |

Caught someone red handed selling a bunch of stuff before the Flea Market in violation of the rules. The fun part? They're a long time dealer and should absolutely know the rules. I followed the rules and waited in line 40 minutes to purchase what you were selling, being one of the first 10 in line, go to your table, and you tell me "Sorry I already sold it all?" As a dealer? |
