Digging through the old based lead mountain and I feel like I have been consitantly winning the powerball all this year.

Todays find was my stash of Italians in 28mm.

Four odd platoons and all kinds of crazy support wespons.

Platoon of regular troops in helmets.
Additionally three Breda M37 light machine guns, three mortars, two 47mm Bohler AT guns and even a ZIS2 57mm ATG with Italian crew.

A platoon of Bersaglieri in helemts.

Aplatoon of Alpini in helmets. In addition two heavy Skoda guns, three Bread M37 light machine guns and three mortars.

And finally a platoon of Paracudisti in their funky helmets, smocks and chest webbing. Each section is Two Breda 30 LMGs and eight baretta 38 SMGs! Additionally there are three nortars, three Breda M37s and two Bohler 47mm AT guns.

I am sure the bulk of them are from a now defunct Italian company. If anyone can think of their name I would appreciate the memory jog. S&T perhaps sounds close???

I am pretty sure they offered them with differing helmet types such as plain helemt or Bersaglieri or Alpini. I cried when I bought them but looking at current prices I guess they were an investment in precious metals.

Tie to take another look into the wall of tackle boxes to dig for more treasures.

I think that they even sold some ranges under the Italian Socialist Republic name?!?

Forgot to mention that they are all metla and the helmets have the feather(s) for Alpini and bersaglieri molded on the helmets.

I think that I found the figures might still be in production.

If that's the case, I'll be singing, "Vecchio Scarpone", in my basement all week.
