Lovely. That's a very big base for such a little man. Have you tried metal washers?

Cacadoress, yes I gave many figures on washers and pennies. Generals are placed on larger bases (and graded by size) to make them easier to spot during a game. With hundreds of minis on a table my poor old eyes need all the help they can get. In game terms they occupy no space as measurements are taken from the top of their head.
