Our Semi Regular Retirees game headed to Spanish Morocco circa 1920 for a bit of fun on a hot July Day. Courier has brought in news to headquarters and it is at link

Sometimes a game turns on a scab shot.

What are the odds of coming across a Berber with a truck licence:)
Sounds like a sharp skirmish.

Nice! I looked in expecting a French skirmish, but no, Spanish! Didn't pay enough attention to the initial post. Quelle surprise!

79th Yeah, the luck overall was bad to moderate on the activations for both sides but both sides got in a lucky shot taking out leaders.

Korsun0, not sure he was licensed but a good dice roll left him with the ability to to operate the truck. We do need to check his insurance card.

pipper909, understand, I will have some French later on in my Rif War scenarios, I have the figs and even an FT-17 to add to the mix. Just getting into the era for gaming so I wanted to start with the Spanish.

The Spanish used the FT17 as well…..

What mat were y'all using?
Was the mat laid over some things to get that hill effect?
Great AAR.

Korsun0, yes they did. So my FT-17 will do double duty for Rif war scenarios.

Thedrake, it is a cigar box desert mat with so pink insulation foam underneath. I reused my foam pieces from my pirate 🏴‍☠️ island 🏝️ game of a few weeks ago which was also a cigar box mat.

Nice to see someone else doing a Rif War game, lovely also to see those Askari Miniatures on a tabletop – well done sir :)
