28mm multipart plastic from Wargames Atlantic with some other bits.

28mm sounds a tad tall for dwarves.

They look great and their weapons are not ridiculously oversized. They could work as Sword Worlders in Traveller. They would not be too tall in that role.

When I was putting together the blogpost, I didn't want to dig through all the army cases to grab some minis (my recent move has put a damper on hobby stuff), so here are some comparison pics with other 28mm scale minis I was able to easily scrounge up.


A couple of modern figures that have been painted fully.


A few partially painted figures, including an ancient plastic Squat from GW with modern resin arms and head from Victoria Miniatures.

I hope that helps show that these Chaos Space Dwarves are not as tall as they might look on their own.
