I went on Saturday this year. Here's my pictorial and review of the con and the tables that caught my eye.

Some very nice looking games there, thanks for the hard work compiling the review!

Great photos.

The Carnage and Glory games all looked fine. Maybe they were packed up before you got there.

Overall, I thought the Friday games looked even better than Saturday's.

The zombie game you pictured was a great one (but then, I was the host). Eight players all struggled to survive. Thye managed to live, but sadly the zombie horde prevented them from accomplishing their mission.

That was a pleasure to review. Glad to see Star Wars and zombies at a historical gaming convention: now I know I'd feel right at home there.

You take really good photos, by the way. Great work.

Excellent review. Just an FYI, your first two pictures are of David Hill's Test of Honour game, not 55 Days at Peking. Easy mistake as they were on adjacent tables.

I have played and enjoyed sci fi and zombie games at other cons, at home and at friends but am disappointed to see them at Historicon. It is all in the name.

That's some nice photojournalism! Great looking tables and minis!

Shagnasty-- I ran 4 historical games in addition to the zombie game. Must have my guilty pleasure!

I don't mind a zombie game or a fantasy game or two but this is to be a historical gaming convention and would like it to remain so.
