I wonder why Putin is so much less willing to work with Trump than expected. Trump kept is word violently here and with the strikes on Iran. Putin is pushing him here. I think it's a mistake to back Trump in a corner. |

Well I think Putin sees all the turmoil that the Dems, woke progressives, illegal aliens, etc. are causing. He sees how the Dems hate anything & everything Trump et al does. That may embolden Putin to see how far he can push it. Trump said the war has gone on too long. Too much blood and treasure has been used up. He thinks Trump may get tired. As he talked about stopping support for Ukraine before. However, taking all that into consideration, Putin is betting he will outlast Trump's resolve. We know Trump does not role over. Putin must also know this. Putin and his staff, etc. have miscalculated about this war from Day One. He wants to save face … I think he realizes he may have painted himself into a corner. His only option is to continue the war. Hoping Ukraine break and Trump become disillusioned, etc. The POTUS is going to get very tough with sanctions on Russia, and those they trade with. Plus selling NATO US weapons, etc. for them to give to Ukraine. This war is not over with yet … And I think the US/NATO and Ukraine will be successful thwarting Putin's imperialism. |
