Certainly a wide range of futures--or equivalent. My own divisions would not have matched eto's though. Cyberpunk, Post-appoc and Steampunk--which I do not regard as SF--are distinct enough. But beyond that the serious divisions are between a Solar system which somehow has multiple habitable planets--Moore, Brackett, Corey and whoever's doing the new "Captain Future" books--and the FTL universe of Star Trek, Star Wars and Galactica. Would any of us really be surprised to see Starbuck, Han Solo and Jim Kirk sitting at the same Fizzbin or Pyramid game?
