I ordered a vinyl model kit and since I have never built a model of this material, what glue has worked well for you in the past?

It is a large reptile "garage model" type kit from Japan.

Thanks.

Not a chemist, but I used both E6000 and Low Temperature Hot Glue to attach my pre-painted D&D figures to their MDF bases; they are made of a vinyl-like plastic (not sure of the composition, but it felt like vinyl). It has lasted for 20+ years and counting. Can't speak otherwise. Sorry. Cheers!

I have no personal experience, however, a quick trip around the net suggests that 2 part epoxy and a gel superglue are good choices. I'm sure that you already completed the Google search exercise so I'm wasting your time. Here is the post I am relying on.
