One of the games to feature at the DWG this month, continues a club focus on the Italian Wars theme, with a refight of Ravenna using the Furioso rule set from Alternative Armies.

Using the set up proposed in the Helion publication, All is Lost Save Honour, our game produced a tense and fascinating struggle as both forces fought fiercely to overcome the other.

Great AAR! Nice armies too, one of my own favorite eras to game. Our group tried Furiouso and liked it but it took too long – we could never finish a game in one session.
We now play To the Strongest with our own Italian Wars modifications as our go to set.

Cool news about Pavia, looking forward to see how it goes.
