Hello everyone, I'm here to support the "Magna Acies" rulebook, written and finally published after twenty years of development by Stefano Izzo, retired commander of the Italian forces after extensive front-line experience, a researcher and esteemed writer of essays on the Roman epic, and finally a rules author. Magna Acies draws on studies of the Roman army, its tactics, and its enemies. It's a simple yet in-depth simulation rulebook that examines the Roman machine in all its development, from its inception to its decline. The rulebook is enriched with supplements that guide the player from scenario to scenario throughout Roman history. Now also available in English.

Hi il giglio. The rules are positioned at the grand tactical level. I really like the rules, so much so, that I helped Stefano with the English version. Not only do I have the main rules, but I have also acquired all of the supplements. I am also trying to read Stefano's book La Battaglia Antica. It is obviously written in Italian, and it is very slow going for me, lol. My Italian is not the best. Stefano, by the way, is a very nice person, besides being a scholar of history and military tactics.
