I have 25mm Minifigs Mounted Infantry which I will make 24th Regiment of Foot from the Anglo-War 1879. Assuming they wore the same uniform during Anglo-Zulu War, did they also were a ammo belt over their left shoulder down to their right hip and on their back running back to the left shoulder?

I believe they wore tan Bedford breeches as the only major difference. Also, mounted infantry were drawn from different regiments.

That said, I have two 6 man units of mounted infantry. One mixed regiments iand one just 24th foot.

Show me the evidence. Depending on what one Google's, you get different responses. Are we 100% certain or are we taking historical license? The 90th Regiment did wear corduroy trading breeches. Cheers, GJ

Nevermind. I did a little digging. Khaki/Cordaroy breeches. Have nice day. :-)
