Mass chair production for my Kiss Kiss Club. I have a constant need for chairs for army headquarters, signals groups, and many other military units.

So it's nice to finally figure out a method for making chairs that look reasonable, are easy to build, rather quick, and not expensive.

Looks like a great idea, well executed!

Mike, I am a HUGE fan of assembly line techniques for wargaming modeling. I applaud your work.

I would suggest, however, that a moto-tool with a cut-off wheel might be your most efficient tool to employ to touch up the cut ends of the wires, along with trimming the plastic seats. It takes a light touch, but the speed and efficiency is tremendous: you likely can do 100 chairs in less than an hour. If you do not have a moto-tool, with cut-off wheels, you need one -- you just don't realize it yet. ;-) They're amazing for modeling. Cheers!

"Is this thing on—"
SQUEEEEEE!!!
"Guess it is! Let me begin by welcoming everyone to this year's Used Toilet Brush Salesmen convention."
Very sparse, muted clapping.
"Yes! Woohoo! We are in for a scrubbing great time! Ha ha ha!"
Silence
"Well, I'd like to thank Mike for his help with the chairs! He's still adding, so there should be one for everybody! Let's give him a hand, gang!"

"Okay, so first on the agenda is Barry ‘Flushemtwice" Barbone with his talk, ‘The Advantages of Pre-Browned Brush Bristles.' I'm sure you'll all want to take notes… so get out that two-ply! Ha ha ha!"
Silence.

Very clever approach, Mike. I'm impressed.

SGT Slag, I have two Dremel tools and have for decades, and use them all the time. I do use it with this wire, but not for the chairs. It worked fine with the tables, but I have used up all the wheels and sanding bits on that project. Rather than wait for replenishment, I am forging ahead manually.
Thank you robert.
Parzival, you are very kind.

Yes one of those brilliantly simple ideas.
