Is it clear which colours were used for it? Or for other camouflage schemes for British tanks of WW1? |

According to Dick Taylor's Warpaint: Colours and Markings of British Army Vehicles 1903 – 2003 Vol.1 The colours have been interpreted as Pink/ochre, grass green, brown and either dark brown or black over a base coat of works grey. Scheme probably only applied to sides, sponsons, front and possibly rear. Order supposedly given in France for the vehicles to be toned down or repainted in a simplified/less garish scheme. Each patch of colour outlined with a thin black line with Ochre, grey, brown and green as likely colours. Camouflage discontinued by Nov/Dec 1916 as tanks getting covered in mud make it ineffective. |

Highly appreciated, thank you! Pink sounds promissing, I guess even my Mark V*s will get some funny paintjobs. |

My pleasure, DT. Those model instructions can come in handy for a lot of colour schemes, especially as they usually give the paint brands and names/numbers you need for the schemes. Did you really need a reason to buy more tanks, mate? Remember the Whippet, A7V, St Charmond…….. |
