Hi guys

Finished the first part of a 20mm WWII Japanese project, the figures are a mix of Kelly's hero's, 1/72 scale miniatures, and Simon's Soldiers, they all fit in pretty well with each other.

They look good mate. Interesting and useful information about the figure compatibility as well.

Great work. What color did you use for the uniforms?

Gunner Dunbar14 Jul 2025 2:01 p.m. PST

There are 2 uniform base colours used, if you look close the first 4 sticks are lighter than the rear 4, the front 4 has a base of Vallejo green ochre, the rear 4 are Vallejo khaki grey, having said that I have a fly by the seat of my pants painting style, and am often slightly changing shades, and hues, by adding in other colours or black/white, some of them have a little khaki added, some are a mix of the khaki grey and green ochre.
