With another so-called heatwave making painting difficult / unpleasant, I am using the time to make up some metal kits. link |

Nice. How they compare to 1:72? |

Painting is the one thing that's pleasant in a heat wave, because I stick the fan right next to me. But not blowing onto what I'm painting. |

Umpapa, the kits are 1/76, so should be a little smaller but I've never bothered to check how they compare or how accurate they are. I use plastic kits for wrecked vehicles used as battlefield detritus and they mix in well. Also, my 20mm figures, thanks to good old scale creep, are over-sized compared to my vehicles, but I quite like that as I don't want the figures to be too fiddly. |

Bill, there's no room for a fan on my tiny, two foot square painting/ / modelling desk, and no space by it either as it's jammed between the bed and the wall. |
