Great popcorn film.

Got an authentic river scene.

Think Kong skull island meets Dora the explorer. With a touch of PJs gungon army and the meg.

I feel the JW franchise is in a similar state to their story. Everyone knows about the dinosaurs, so now it's just random stories in a world with dinosaurs.

They have managed to isolate them again in a few lines of dialogue.

Of course humans have mostly forgotten about them, apparently, while having a Brachiosaurus stuck in traffic.

Pretty dull premise, get blood from 3 Dino's. Big ones we haven't had too much to do with. Then throw in a random (from an intro scene) giant Dino at the end.

Trying to figure out which films it follows. By David Koepp.

Already been watching secret window to JP lost world, witch works. Funny when ingen Joe is talking about his expensive suit, while you see Jonny Depp sleeping in his ripped robe. That's one.

Dora the explorer!

Without knowing too much about it other than the live action film, where she's older. But it looks pretty close to me. Half expect money to have changed hands.

Big cg Dinos were a bad idea. Well tired by now. Again, obviously theres an underlying story they are using, but maybe they should have gone with another.

Human and chase stuff is good. A good mix of characters. Older daughter a welcome sight. Almost had me grabbing at the screen like a cat chasing dust.

A bit annoying that the "bad guy" died instead of helping in the end, but gave us a JP lost world car scene, I think.

Actually every one who did the slightest thing wrong died. Except the usless boyfriend. A tad dull and predictable.

Oddly, except this person!!!

Opens with a horror scene. Not sure it's a kids film. Worse then JPs. Muldoon/parents, try to save victim, even putting themselves and everyone else at risk. In this one a woman let's him die, refusing to help, to keep everyone else safe. I blame 911. (After that you saw people always dieing in films for no title story reason. Which was rare before.)

Better then the last two or three. Just wished they had made it more of a sequel to both JPs or JWs, or just do a JP remake, as it is still using the book.

Lots of nods to first film also.

PS

Lots of horror scenes, giant things, one big giant thing at end.

Thinking Cloverfield.

And King Kong.

Island of dinosaurs, big thing at end, falling from terrosaur attack into water, essentially girl being kidnapped from boat is there also.

Lots to do.

I thought JW referred to John Wick, and was a little confused for a paragraph or two.

He means Jehovah's Witnesses. wink

I'm sure this film can remedy your confusion.

Think family friendly wet tshirt.

I'm thinking return of the king.

Oliphants, trolls, beasts. Plus eagles, fell beasts.

Seems to fit the theme.

Think it is Jurassic World

Thought yanks would be all up on their acronyms.

They seem to use them for everything.

I prefer JP though.

Because, "If it's not Jurassic Park, it's extinct."
