I don't mean to hijack this post, however, while looking over other American Revolutionary War figures by First Legion, they offer figures for Haslet's First Delaware regiment with some figures wearing cloth mitres? I assume that this is historically accurate as the First Delaware reenactor group has photos of members wearing mitres.

Would an American regiment have designated grenadiers? I recall seeing an early war (NY I think) militia uniform which included a mitre-wearing figure that is in the Troiani book. I cannot find my copy, so I am relying upon my increasingly faulty memory. I think there may also be a photo or print floating around of a "Congress' Own" figure decked-out with a mitre.

I have looked around and have not found any manufacturer offering mitre-wearing AWI figures in 28mm. Does anyone know of a source? My first thought was to simply repurpose British Seven Year War grenadiers, however, the design of the mitre is wrong. I suppose I could file off the visor on a peaked hat wearing continental, however, that would not really replicate the mitre in question. The pictured headdress is taller than the peak of the standard Continental light infantry peaked hat. Would 1806 Prussian grenadiers work? The headgear may be workable, however, would the uniform be too historically inaccurate?

Armand, Thanks for posting this!
