I stumbled across a reference to this old set of rules when looking for a WW II tactical combat systems. I found various info about them on TMP forums. For anyone who has played them, what did you think about them? Are copies of them available anywhere?

I played a few games with them around the turn of the century, but I can't remember much about them. They seemed fairly sensible and traditional, certainly nothing like Bolt Action.

I believe they were published by Barry at Timecast?

If they are the same as the ones I know about they were by Barry Lovell and published in 1995.

Here's the BGG listing:

Being a hopeless collector of rules, especially WW II, I do have a copy. I remember paging through them and finding them a bit too detailed for my taste. That having been said very professionally done, comprehensive and I always give a bit extra credit for spiral bound rules.
