For weathering I use a washing sponge dipped in metal paint, best to take some of it off before applying like with drybrushing.

Well I was confident that the Valentine just missed out on Second Alamein, but thought I had better check in the appropriate Osprey book. Loads of photos…..OK. I'll drop that conviction.

So instead I will be contrary and argue that I would favour the M4A1 Sherman II against a Panzer Mk IV eg crew of five instead of 3, maybe a bit taller I guess.

Great paintwork and a very convincing result.
