The entries below are aimed at pulling together links to downloadable material on the Schwarzburg Military. My sincere thanks to the Napoleon Series Forum (in particular Steve H. Smith, John (Jack) H. Gill, George Nafziger & many, many others) and Markus Stein & colleagues (Napoleon Online). As with previous contributions this is not exhaustive but should give those who have an interest in the Schwarzburg Military good access to a fair range of material – unfortunately there does not appear to be much out there that is either available, viewable, or downloadable.

Where possible I have inserted direct download links but unfortunately, I have not been able to achieve this for all entries.

Please note for some items, non-US inhabitants will need to use a VPN to gain access. If you do not have access to fast internet, you should think very carefully whether to attempt to try and download any items where multiple volumes can be downloaded in one go or where I have indicated either a big or large download. I may add to this list if and when I find other suitable material.

Before you paint hundreds of these up, be aware they never contributed a full battalion.

For those interested, they were at the Glogau siege, in the Tyrol and in 1807 they sent 650 men as part of the 1st Battalion 6th Regiment of the Confederation. They had about 600 men as part of the 2nd Brigade, Division Princiére in Russia and they were at the Danzig siege.

In Spain their two companies were mainly on garrison duties in the N.E. but they did enjoy some exciting missions, chasing after Spanish guerrillas, before attrition melted them away.
