28mm resin figures. The scatter terrain is from Miniature Building Authority, the dinosaur is from Acheson Creations.

We took our son to Dinosaur National Park when the concepts of multi-colored and even feathered dinosaurs were taking hold, but all of the dinosaurs in the gift shop were traditional green/brown/gray. Pleased to see a more colorful dino.

Grand work! Since we can't tell what color dinosaurs might have been (or how they may have changed over all those eons), we as painters have free reign to imagine or reconstruct. I like to think about how herd animals and predators -- and birds! -- are colored today for hints. But no one can say you're wrong, whatever you do.

PS: extra credit for Parasaurolophus, the piper's dino! Honk-HONK!
